love love love this book!
If I had read this as a teenager, I wouldn't have been able to get past Holden Caufield's cynicism. At this point in my life, however, I was able to appreciate this kid for who he was, and I really liked him.

Salinger knows his shit. This is one of the rare books with a disillusioned, angry teen character that really rings true.
