Tennessee Williams' Southern tragicomedy revolves around Big Daddy, who is celebrating his 65th birthday and dying of cancer, and his son Brick, who is an alcoholic and married to Maggie (the Cat). My book club decided to read Cat On A Hot Tin Roof for our July 2013 selection. I really enjoyed it and was surprised by the play. It's definitely not like the movie.
