I read this book with some hesitation because I don't like romantic novels, and I hate, hate anything mushy. This book was a pleasant surprise, and I found it to be one of the only 3 books I've ever cried while reading. Definite winner!

I love the way she writes about Chicago, about art, about libraries -- and especially about Henry and Claire and their love story. Makes me cry like a baby even in re-reads.
