I don’t know where to start. I liked this book a lot, and yet had some major problems. I read a lot of novels, and am generally having a hard time becoming bored with just a simple A to Z type story (see #21 above). It takes more than just a good story lately to really get me. I found this story a bit difficult to jup into and once there was lost from time to time as the story jumped through time. Certainly a love story made from the stuff of legends, I struggled at times with the age difference of the time traveler and his wife when they encountered each other at various "jumps" that placed her far younger than his adult self. It does bring up the question, "what would we do if we had the opportunity to know our loved ones when they were children?"

I really, really loved this book. I haven't seen the movie (I usually like to read the book first) but now I'm pretty interested in seeing it. I was so drawn in by the writing style and the crazy constant time traveling and the relationships. I really liked the characters and I mused over and over again "This is the author's first novel?!"
