I really liked this book and yet also didn't like it all that much, odd as it is to say. I liked Zeb a lot more in the previous book. Here, he was just relentlessly crude and jaded; I didn't really buy his telling his story to Toby in the way Atwood had him do so. MaddAddam book 3.
The survivors of Crake’s manufactured plague, some humans and some genetically-engineered Crakers, band together in order to create a new civilization from the wreckage.
Though the Painballers and the Pigoons are still hovering in the shadows as an invisible menace, this final book in the trilogy is less about the plot and more about the stories that make us human.
Atwood’s take on how we might start over if we had the chance is a thought-provoking one.
