I can't believe I got addicted to Harry Potter on my writing residency! I know I'm a million years behind everyone else, but I guess I haven't read any books "for fun" in awhile since I'm always trying to read books by people whose workshop I'm in, or for research. rereading this the Minalima edition - Additional stars for the beautiful illustrations and creative props. This book is just marvelous, it worth every penny I spent to buy it. Can't wait to collect the whole series!!!

Rereading this book brings a lot of new perspectives. I fell in love all over again with Hogwarts and the life behind its doors. Thank you JK Rowling to bring us one if the best stories, ever =) ...more

Originally started reading this series to escape 9/11 coverage, and was immediately sucked in. Now that I've read the last one, I'm going back to the beginning to catch the details on the second run through.

Reread in September 2007 after finishing the series. Amazing to see where things started after finding out how they end. J.K. is one bright woman. ...more

I may be biased, but I grew up with this series and it is one of my favorites to this day! Although, there do appear to be some obvious plot holes and discrepancies, I will always be a Potterhead.
