It was 2000 when I first read Harry Potter. My friend Super Suz recommended the series to me but I put off reading it for ages. Oh how I love this book (and series). It's been years since I last read the Harry Potter series (honestly... I think it's been since book 7 came out when I reread them all in preparation for the finale!) I've seen the movies countless times, and have read the Sorcerer's Stone at least 4 or 5 times previously, but it was just as magical and engaging this time as ever before. JK Rowling created actual literary magic when she brought Harry, Ron, Hermione and the others to life. I won't wait as long ...more
