I really adored about three of these stories (the Rainbow Rowell one, the Christmas tree one and the Christmas Cafe one), and found most of the rest of them to be very damn solid, with just a couple that I wasn't into. So over all, four stars. There definitely were some trope-y things that I was starting to get tired of - lots of absent parents, meet-cutes, and first kisses. A fun, fluffy, and quick read!!

My favorite stories were "Midnights"; "It's a Yuletide Miracle, Charlie Brown", "What the Hell Have You Done, Sophie Roth?"; and "Star of Bethlehem." There were at least a couple that I simply didn't get, including "The Lady and the Fox" and "The Girl Who Woke the Dreamer." The best one hands-down was "Welcome to Christmas, CA."

The stories in this collection that I loved (Rainbow Rowell's and Stephanie Perkins') would have made this a 5 star read all on their own. A few others were ok and a couple others were nearly DNF. Overall I enjoyed the collection and now have some clue about authors new to me and whether their books are for me. ...more

Cute little stories for the holiday season. Some where much more entertaining than others...and I discovered some authors that I hadn't read before. The story by Matt de la Pana sticks out in my mind with the emotion expressed. ...more
