I re-read this for a book club and I was surprised how much I'd forgotten about the story in general, and definitely about the dry, sarcastic voices that Austen gives several of her characters. I remember loving Pride and Prejudice when I read it the first time, and I loved it again when I read it again.

For years I refused to read Austen, and I'm really not sure why because I loved this book. The story of Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy is still amazing, and her wit had me laughing the entire time.

LOVED IT! I'm so glad I was able to avoid all the versions of this movie because the story was a complete surprise to me...now I'm just wondering why I waited so long to read a Jane Austen novel. I will admit, it took about 100 pages before I could really get into it, but once I did, I had a hard time putting the book down. Which Austen novel should I read next? (or will the others be a dissappointment because they're not as good as P&P?)

Amazing, smart, and funny like always. I listened this time, Rosamund Pike was perfect (except for the voice of Mrs. Bennet, she was kind of annoying).
