When I heard there was a movie being made I thought, there must be something about this book, I should pick up and read it.
Well. Aside from the glaring editing problems, there are so many inconsistencies in some of the characters. One of which that was striking - the difference in intelligence/depth/insight of the narrator and Rose. And the narrator is supposed to be Rose! So why is the narrator magically able to work problems out so much better than Rose.

If you loved Twilight, you'll love this book. Original. Well-written. A very quick read. I can't wait until I can get to the library to get the next once. Totally addictive mind candy.

Vampire Academy, book one.
St. Vladimir's Academy is a private school for vampires and their protectors. Lissa is a vampire royal, and her protector is brave and brash Rose. They share a unique bond, which the readers comes to fully understand by the end of the novel. I enjoyed reading this book-it's a good summer read. The characters are interesting and the storyline is fast paced. I will be reading the whole series because I'm intrigued -thanks to my sister-in-law.
