At first, this felt a bit too slow for me. It took time for me to feel relate to Ove. But I guess this book is the kind of book that you need to devour slowly. Ove started to grow on me, and by the end of the book, I want to make him my Grandpa!!! :D

I really enjoyed this weird little book. It was funny and touching and I teared up at the end a little bit. A little overly sweet and far fetched at points, but definitely a solid read.

Ugh. Obvious, sentimental, and manipulative. Characters with no depth or nuance, and logic sacrificed for cheap emotional ploys.
