I recently re-watched "Pitch Perfect" and I noticed in the credits that the movie was based on this book. When I watched the sequel I again saw that it was based on this book. "Pitch Perfect" has become one of my favorite movies so I decided to read the book.
If you like the movie then read this book. I wasn't aware of how cutthroat the a capella movement could be. The book follows 3 groups and the author relays their triumphs and their tribulations.

So I didn't even know this was a thing. I thought it was just a funny thing someone made into a movie. Turns out, it's real. Of course the movie takes a lot of liberties with it's source material but it was still pretty interesting.
