I can recognize the skill and care that went into crafting six different styles of narrative, but I wasn't drawn in by the stories very much. I am having a difficult time getting into this book. I wanted to read this before the movie came out but am now reconsidering. It's not really grabbing my attention and I'm finding it difficult to remain interested. I just started chapter 2 (as of 09/10/12) and I am going to take a break for a bit and come back to it.

The range of the stories are so vast with many interesting characters, invisible dots that connecting them. You know there is connection but what is it??? Even after finishing this book I still think about it.

My favorite part is the story of Robert Frobisher (young talented but desperate musician), setti
