So slow...so tedious....Great man,great idea but the process of building the schools was sooooo slow..as was the pace of the book! I didn't finish it.

This is the most inspiring book I've ever read. It should be required reading for everyone in America and the world.
Greg Mortenson gets it. He understands that peace on earth will only be achieved when the world's children, particularly the girls, are educated. He has the cultural sensitivity and fearlessness required to bridge different communities and make friends in every corner of the world.
