Poor Don. Just, poor Don. A fascinating character and a fun mess of a plot. Would definitely recommend.

Lately I have been in a bit of a reading rut. I suppose I should be thankful given how many wonderful books I have managed to read so far this year. And I am. The last few books I’ve read were good but not great and I don’t know if that is because I was comparing them to great books I’ve read or they just weren’t the right books at the right time. How do you know?

I loved the first book, but this one was only okay to me. I think it was too long. I wouldn't have been able to resist reading it though since I loved the first so much. I just had higher expectations.

Not quite as captivating as The Rosie Project, and lacked a lot of the Don & Rosie relationship magic of the first book. But I enjoyed it and found myself laughing a LOT when reading Don's logic and thought processes. I also found myself holding my breath a bit for positive outcomes after all the crazy predicaments (or Incidents as Don usually refers to them) and misunderstandings. Overall an enjoyable read. I really like Simsion's storytelling!
