I enjoyed this a lot, some great insights about human nature.
In the first chapter of this book I knew I was going to cry, and perhaps that's why I didn't exactly look forward to picking it up. It's the story of an aspiring race car driver, told through the eyes of his dog. It's heartwarming at times, but I found the deviations about race car history, and tv the dog watch a bit bumpy.

I only thought this book was ok. I liked the point of view of the dog, but I wasn't super into the story of what was happening in his owner's life. I don't own a dog...is that what I'm missing here?

The more I think about it, the less I like this book, been over a year, but was thinking about it the other day and was thinking how truly unsettled this book made me feel...
Gut wrenching & beautiful.
