Great book. It seems that a lot of the reviewers have read it from the perspective of what makes a good mother, that she should of found fulfillment within her prescribed role. But it's exactly this type of pigeonholing that she's rebelling against. She is foremost, above all a human and longs for the freedom to feel, to love, fail, to just be.
