This title in the series took me a bit longer to get through, but it has nothing to do with the book itself. I started pre-service meetings to return to teaching around the same time that I started reading this one, and I spent a lot less time up at night reading, consequently.
But the sheer expanse of this book, and the number of pages, also had something to do with it.

I have to say that I was a bit disappointed in this one, so it gets 3.5 stars instead of 4. Not that I'm not engrossed by Claire and Jamie, and their story, but there was just too much happening in the middle of this book for me. It seems like every disaster that could come on their voyage, did, and a few that you'd never imagine as well. I will, however be reading the next one to follow their adventures.
