I love a good antiheroine, and we definitely get one here. Small town girl goes to fancy college, feels class envy (the microscopic details describing the elite art world of NYC are spot on, and the class envy is brutally and beautifully described), fits in nowhere, regresses to a dead end life, comes up with a heist, betrays her partners, escapes to Europe and throws herself into the underworld of antiques and forgery.
