The history featured in this book intrigued me, and it was a big part of why I was hooked from the beginning. The writing is phenomenal. The descriptions were so perfect, that I could almost breath the cold Minnesota air. I loved the two different, yet similar heroines, and their stories. I really enjoyed this book. I especially loved Vivian's story and learning a bit of history. Molly's story was more predictable but I loved the back-and-forth telling of the present story and the past and I loved the comparison and similarities of the two.
