Quick read, but not a very good book in my opinion. The concept is sad, as are some of the details, but I felt the writing was terrible and that made it hard for me to feel anything. Child abuse is very upsetting and what this man went through in his childhood is atrocious, but as a stor this really needed some work by an author that could write it out clearer with better details and a better outline, and more length. I felt like very little was answered and as a man looking back at what he went

I can't rate this book. The story is gripping, but only in that it is so terribly horrible to imagine someone going through it. It is written from the perspective of a 4-12 year old point of view so the language is very simplistic, but the details are anything but. ...more
