I laughed out loud in inappropriate places reading Bossypants, which I think about sums up this wonderful book. I'm not much of a non-fiction reader, and even less into autobiographical prose, but it would be quite the understatement to just say "I could relate..." when I read Bossypants. Every time I laughed and - on occasion, particularly in sections relating to being a working mom - sighed/groaned, I was really looking at myself.

Way more feminist than I was expecting. Deals with parenting, success, anxiety, trauma and comedy in one thick volume. I think I had the large type edition because it seemed unusually thick. I also enjoyed getting some back-story to the 30 rock jokes (the writer who wanted Blimpies in the final episode in real life always wanted to order McDonalds- who knew?
