Read 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014...so many times I have lost count

Love Love Love Love Love, freaking Love.

I was reluctant to read these. Not really sure why, but then enough people told me "So good! Just read it!" that I did.

I'm so glad I did. I enjoyed it so much. I can't wait to devour the next one!

I had read some pretty mixed reviews of this book, so I was actually pleasantly surprised by how entertained I was by it. Oh. Oh, how I wish, so hard, we could have had more things from Jace's point of view. I liked the series, but it would have been far more compelling from his mindset.

Merged review:

I really want to call this a 3.5, but if I have to chose 3 or 4. It's more 4 than three. I do agree with the reviewer than half-spoiled me as I was checking out this series a week ago. Book one is a whole lot more Telling-Than-Showing which usually bugs the crap out of me as a reader and an English Major.

BUT. It fits

I'm read this on the advice of a couple of thirteen year olds... and it wasn't half bad, if you're into the whole demon-hunter, vampire/werewolf thing! ...more
