I’ve listened to this epic tome four times. And not just this one, but the other books in the series (newer ones haven’t been read a frequently). What keeps bringing me back? Claire and Jamie. Roger and Briana. The history. The romance. The writing.
And the fact that I can’t choose between Jamie and Roger as my fictional boyfriends. (Do I have to choose?)

Meh...
Not my favorite of the Outlander books. Definitely think she could have put all the action into about 400 pages at most. But glad to FINALLY be done with it. It was my Everest. I’ve heard the rest of the series is very good so I wanted to make sure I got through this one.

These books are SO LONG. But I do really enjoy them. I just wish I could read them in shorter chunks.
