There is a large amount of foul language in this book, so much so that I nearly chucked the book a few times. However, that being said the characters were well developed and interesting. I did not notice the author's pseudonym explanation on the back cover until I was a third of the way through the book and definitely invested in the story. I think she tried to create characters who were as far removed from magical tweens as possible.
