Heartbreaking but very very good. I was so frustrated with the parents and the choices they made I wanted to scream! The memoir follows the author through her childhood as her parents move the family around the country. I'm really glad I read Half Broke Horses FIRST. This is a much sadder book, although I am glad I got to learn more about the author.
