I was torn between 3 or 4 stars, but decided to give it 3 (maybe 3,5?). I actually liked the idea behind this book - a girl named Ursula was given opportunities to relive her life over and over again. She didn't realize this fully, but she tried unconsciously to repair some mistakes in her past, changing history and the world to become a better place. The setting of this story is from 1910-1967, so there was two Great Wars happened during the book and this point was quite interesting for me. But

Ursula is given life after life. In an attempt to cause different future outcomes, she changes by taking fate into her own hands. I loved the British-ness of this book. The details of Fox Corner and the Todds' family life were particularly enjoyable for me. I also liked the historical perspective. But, heavens, did it have to be so long?

The concept of this book was interesting-getting to come back and change things about your life. It took me awhile to get into this book, and I never really felt like it was something I HAD to read. I don't think it was as good as all the hype led me to believe.
