What Members Thought
This was one of those books that I never really wanted to read despite all the good reviews when it came out. But I'm a good book group member, so I did read it when my book group decided to read it. I guess I'm glad I did, although I'd also be just fine if I had never read it. I found it repetitive (of course) and I really disliked the main character. Plus there were just a lot of the conceptual/sciency questions that I had that were just not addressed. It's a meh from me.

One third through and I just don't care. A little surprised because originally I thought that would totally be in my wheelhouse, but I can't spend another 350 pages trying to make that happen.

This was just my cup of tea. Lots to ponder here, and a lot more of war than I've read lately. Super interesting concept with a character I liked well enough to pull it off.
