4.5 stars. I read a hardcopy as well as listened to the newly released audiobook narrated by Rebecca Front and performed by a marvelous cast including David Tennant and Michael Sheen. I'm a fan of both British humor and fantasy so I found it to be a really fun, delightful, chaotic yet philosophical romp. The world is going to end. On Saturday. This has been long in the making, and was foretold centuries ago by an eccentric woman named Agnes Nutter. You would have known this if you had read her book. Of course, you would have to find a copy of the elusive tome, as only one is still in existence.

This very much has a Hitchhiker's Guide vibe to it, sort of like a supernatural, rather than science-fiction, take on similar storytelling style. That's not at all a complaint or a disparagement. It's a sort of mentality one needs to go into the story with.
