What Members Thought
So... this book has so many things to discuss. In the surface, it looks like the usual fairy tale/fantasy/romance/adventure book- with damsel in distress, flawless "prince charming" and all the crazy villains. But the background of the story- how the writer, William Goldman, told about his involvement with the book (as if it's true but turned out only another fiction!!) - create some wittiness in the story, and so many layers that are too complicated to be discussed one by one. A very enjoyable read. I've seen the movie a few times, so I "heard" the book in my head with the voices from the movie. And I found myself trying to remember, "Was this scene in the movie?".
