Poehler's quick wit and quirky sense of humor made this autobiography an enjoyable read. She tells the story of her humble begins, the importance of family and how perseverance not luck made her who she is today. For those SNL and Parks and Recreation fans you'll love this backstage pass to your favorite shows. ...more

I read this book in less than a week. That isn't to say that it was especially suspenseful or that I'm a fan girl. I highly recommend the audiobook. Amy reads this alone, with friends, family and the last chapter in front of a live audience. She is funny and charming, and you should really spend 8 with Amy Poehler!

Loved this book! Listened to the audiobook which received an Audie Award in 2015. Amy Poehler is my kindred spirit and comedic heroine.
