I'm SO bummed this is over! I want Amy Poehler telling me stories in my ear while I cook dinner and fold laundry for the rest of my life. Is that so much to ask, really? REALLY?!

Anyway, as you might have gathered I chose the audio version of this book, based on a recommendation by a friend (shout out to Tera!) and she was SO right on. Shelves: non-fiction, memoir-and-bio, humor

This is part chronological memoir, and part random musings, enough so that there wasn't very much flow. There were parts that I thought were excellent, touching, inspiring and funny. Her positivity about growing old and body image struck a nerve and I liked hearing about the gritty beginning of her career.

I really enjoyed this - I liked Poehler's writing style, I liked her humor and appreciated her realness and not feeling like comedian Amy had to be "on" for the whole book. I wanted more Parks & Rec, but loved what she included about the cast and series - I do wonder if there would have been more about the show had the series already ended at the time of writing.
