Another great book by Liane Moriarty. She writes great characters AND totally believable and engaging stories, and I love how she wraps everything up at the end - no loose ends!
Liane Moriarty snagged me with her smash hit, THE HUSBAND'S SECRET. I read it last year and my jaw dropped at how hard of a punch it packed. So when I saw that BIG LITTLE LIES was coming out, I knew this would be one I couldn't pass up. I was a bit worried, I'll admit, that it wouldn't live up to what its predecessor did for me, but almost immediately that worry was put to rest as I started in, immediately fascinated by the names floating on the page and the gossip they were revealing.

I'm finding some common themes among this author's books. Marital relationships, negative self-talk, parenting, and especially in this book--a parent's relationship to the school. And then there are the skeletons in the closet. It's a good study in secret keeping.

So. Good. Quite a page-turner. The characters were so well written. The scenes were described in a way that made them easy to imagine. The hints and twists kept me guessing the whole time, and the ending was more than satisfying. Really enjoyed it.
