I stayed up way too late to finish this book. I don't know why this book captured my attention so. I'm not a fan of the circus, and this book did little to change my mind. But I really liked the story, its structure... The writing was so vivid. I wonder when it'll be made into a movie.

I liked the characters and the writing style. The story was interesting. The sex scenes were totally inappropriate and nasty and the ending wasn't totally believable. Proabaly would give it a 3 1/2 because of the writing style.

This is am amazing book. You'll learn about circus life during the depression, but more about aging gracefully, kindness and redemption. Great book!

I LOVED this book. What an amazingly well told story. So, so, so glad I finally decided to read this.
