Fascinating

It's a classic, but it really is interesting in how it was put together. You get hints at the ending throughout the story, but wow, that impact. I don't think I liked any of the characters. ...more

I've never actually read Stephen King before, so I'm not sure if this reflects his style, but wow, was this book boring! While I will say the life he described for Carrie was horrific, there was nothing scary about this book, largely because it flip-flopped between the plot as it was happening and excerpts of reports and books about the "Carrie White incident." These insets took away any build up in the action and it was a bit of a slough to get through it. ...more
