What is this???
Totally unexpected dark tale from Haruki Murakami :D Somehow the fantasy theme here reminds me more of Neil Gaiman's style. It's still enjoyable though, especially with all the beautiful illustrations and dark imaginings, and I love the format of this book so much (I read the pink cover one).

a novella by one of my favorite authors?? Yes, please. The Strange Library was the perfect little book to read on Halloween. A boy goes to his local library and is pointed to a room he's never visited. There he meets a strange man and is led through a basement labyrinth... This story is weird, bizarre, quirky, intelligent... everything I like about Murakami's writing.
