Hmm, I wasn't too fond of the before part, but the after part was gripping. I did connect with the characters, but it was a slow connection to start. It took me 3 days, because for the first two days I just read 60 pages and went 'that's enough of this for now,' but today I read about 100 pages (not all at once only because I went shopping in the middle) and I really felt for the characters. John Green really is a good author, and I loved the FAQs at the end of the book.

I really enjoyed this book. A few of my students said they really liked it so I read it...and it was an easy read with a good story line.
