I don't read many graphic novels or comic books, but I enjoyed this story of a young girl trying to understand the changes taking happening around her because of the Iranian Revolution. I learned a couple little factoids, like it's illegal to kill a virgin, so they will marry them before executing them and then the execution (husband) must send the girls family a dowry.

The Iranian Revolution of 1979 from the POV of a young and outspoken young girl was enlightening and heart-breaking.
Wow. Not much more to say than that.
