This is my first experience with reading an e-book. I have been meaning to read this book for a while because it is often mentioned in other books, and I wondered what was so special. Now I know. I wish I hadn't waited so long to read it.

This is the first time I've read Jane Eyre and I'm sorry it took me so long to say "hello" to Jane. I could have benefited from reading her tale at various times in my past, but I'm glad to have made the acquaintance now, as I've found a life long companion in Jane.

I admire Jane as she changed and grew with each of life's circumstances. At times it was unpleasant, unfair, gothic and prejudiced ... but it was real, and she took us, the readers, along with her on the journey as we saw the world t ...more

I really enjoyed this book. My husband was surprised that I had never read it. He apparently read it in high school. For the last couple years he has been telling me that I need to read it. This last month we could read whatever book we wanted for book club so I decided it would be a good time to read Jane Eyre. I am glad I did. It was a really good book and I loved it!!
