Uggh.. The most heartbreaking 5 star read ever :(((
I almost didn't give this book 5 stars because it is too scary for me to read some parts of this book, since there's some very close to real life experience here. But - the memoir is very well written, with lots of heart and soul put into it that I can feel only by reading several pages in.
It is scary, it is raw, it is beautiful and heart wrenching all at once.

This was much different than what I was expecting, but definitely still a great memoir. I'm not sure why I was expecting a funny story. The title should have given me a clue! This was a story of loss, grief, and family. It was beautifully told by the author, and so interesting. I listened to this while driving from Detroit to Chicago by myself. It was a great listen to pass the miles, and I also was happy to find her band music on Spotify.
