Okay, I'm a bit torn. I really really wanted to like this book more! It had a great hype, was a Reese's YA Book Club pick, written by own voice, and told a story about Native American community, with slow burning crime plot.
But... as much as I appreciate this book, and really really hope that there are more own voice books like this, with diverse genre and storyline, I still can not lie, some of the plot and characters didn't really work for me :(

I knew nothing about this book going into it other than it being YA, and it exceeded my expectations. The mystery keeps you turning pages til the end.
