This book was incredible. Maybe it's because I think this is really the first nonfiction book I've read specifically on disability (aside from specific mental health books), at least that I can think of, but I just learned a ton. I read a lot on racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, etc., but I'm behind on ableism and I'm trying to catch up. One of the most powerful, informative, eye-opening books I have ever read. I learned so much about individuals living with a disability and how differently they are forced to navigate this world from people with able bodies. This should be a “must read” for everyone. I listened to the audiobook.
