Chester Brown's look at his own experiences as a john, and the extensive appendices regarding his argument in favour of decriminalization of prostitution in Canada, is a fascinating read. As he says himself, it would be interesting to know more of the stories of the women, but the perspective of the john, particularly one who is a good client and a conscientious one, is interesting.
