This was...fine. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Kiss Quotient, but this was almost an entirely boiler plate romance novel. I found Khai sort of dull, and Esme kind of irritating. One of the reasons I’ve never been a fan of romance novels is that they’re mostly all headed to the same conclusion: two people meet, sparks, complications, happy ending.
