What a profound and moving book. Everyone should read this trilogy. The third book in particular is such a striking commentary on humanity and our world. I cannot recommend this highly enough.
This series was intense! Many times I felt lost and didn’t quite know what was going on, but I’m glad I persisted. It can together for me in the end. What an amazing mind to invent a story like this!!
This story is what I’m always hoping to find when I pick up a sci-fi or fantasy book. Gorgeous world-building, compelling characters and a tense, engaging and emotional plot. The Broken Earth series is beautiful.
Definitely worth a re-read. There were a lot of pieces I was able to put together more easily, and I could keep track of different people and groups with less trouble. Such a great story, and a wonderful end to the trilogy.
