I picked this up to fulfill one of my reading challenges, to read a book narrated by an animal or inanimate object. The Travelling Cat Chronicles, you will not be surprised to read, has a cat as the narrator. And between me and you, that was the best part of the book. The cat was really cat-like, in temperament and tone. His reflections felt genuine and I would like more of his point of view.
