What a wonderful story about following your dreams! Besides the ending (which I adored), I loved that this story really shows how gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation are three separate pieces of your identity, and they don't always line up in a neat row the way we are traditionally shown.

This is a sweet graphic novel about a boy who is figuring out who he is and a girl who is learning to advocate for herself. I enjoyed the story and illustrations, and it made for a nice weekend afternoon read.
I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this book, I just didn't love it as much as others seem to.
