I liked the art (flat boots with no stilettos, yay!) and the basic storyline - 4 stars.

But there was a lot of ancillary information one just had to have to understand what exactly was going on - like what's up with the lady in charge? Who's this Cheetah person? - 3 stars.

Diana is convinced that someone is manipulating her mind, because she keeps recalling all these different histories for herself. A clever meta idea, with all the changes to the stories that decades of comics bring. The story wasn't half bad, but didn't give me much of a sense of her as a character.the art was so dreadful that I couldn't even look at it, I just read the text. I like to read comic books, but I don't read a lot of superhero comic books. Superheroes are everywhere these days, so I thought I'd dip my toes into the vast ocean, and I thought these "Rebirth" comics might be a good place to start, so I can learn a little bit about the various characters.

The art is beautiful. Liam Sharp delivers a gorgeous book that goes wonderfully with Greg Rucka's wriitng. The story is really interesting, and I'm looking forward to finding out what is happening. But really, 5 stars for the art alone. ...more
