This is my second time reading Song of Achilles. I generally don’t reread books, but I’m sure I’ll revisit this novel many more times. My pandemic brain needed to revisit a story I know well—I love the Greek myths—and can just fall into. What a beautiful version of the Iliad.
A clever retelling of the Iliad from the perspective of Patroclus. Quick, fun, escapist read.
