So I actually finished this a while ago and forgot to shelve it. I just love Sarah Vowell's audiobooks. I mean, I love her books period, but she just does such amazing work with audio. It's also interesting to think about some of the stuff she mentions about "the current president" (Bush the younger). Her complaints are genuine, but oh girl, if only we all knew what was coming. I also forgot just how much of the book is devoted to Lincoln compared to McKinley and Garfield. ...more
